KLAUDIA OLEJNIK

AGE: 20 | HEIGHT: 5'7" | HOMETOWN: AURORA, ON



Born in Poland and raised in Toronto, Klaudia is a hard working and enthusiastic 20 year old. She graduated from Cardinal Carter High School with honours and a member of the principal's list.

She is currently finishing her third year at the Schulich School of Business-York University and working towards obtaining a designation in Chartered Accounting. Her interest in the financial markets is also reflective in her work as an Analyst in the York Investment Club.

Klaudia became a Chess Champion at a young age and has won the York District School Board award for Outstanding Leadership. Despite that, Klaudia considers her most important achievement to be her own personal growth, which is no more evident then in her work with children with special needs. Not only is it extremely humbling and rewarding, but it is within this context that she has acquired the transferable leadership and teamwork skills that are essential to her success.

Klaudia believes that it is important to seize every moment and every opportunity- but most importantly to reflect upon your present blessings. Although never anticipating becoming a part of such a competition, Klaudia is thankful for the experience and has considered the journey to be a life changing experience.

 The new Miss Canada Universe 2008 will be crowned next Monday, April 28th.The competition will take place at The Winter Garden Theatre in Toronto.
The Preliminary competition will be on Saturday April 26th @ 8:00pm and the Final Show and Crowning on Monday April 28th @ 7:30pm.
